Indications/Uses
External & bacterial infections of the eye & its adnexa caused by susceptible gm +ve & gm -ve organisms.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye(s) 4 hrly.
Severe infections
Instill 2 drops into the affected eye(s) hrly until there is improvement.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Prolonged use, superinfection. May retard corneal wound healing.
Adverse Reactions
Localized ocular toxicity of hypersensitivity eg, itching, swelling & conjunctival erythema.
